Ramos finished four shots off the overall lead, captured by Thea Hoffmeister of Germany and Purdue University. Ramos bested a pair of players who finished in 3rd place at 4-under par.
Joining Ramos at the event was fellow UA sophomore Isabelle Boineau, playing on her native soil. With just 22 of the original 37 players making the cut, Boineau did not make the final two days of play as she carded a 36-hole total of 8-over par 148.
The summer amateur season ends for the Wildcats next week as incoming freshman Sherlyn Popelka will compete for the European Team at the PING Junior Solheim Cup. The event will be held at the Aurora Country Club from Aug. 17-19 in Aurora, Ill.
