This film chronicles the journey of 23-year-old Ernesto Guevara (Iater known as Che Guevara) across South America. Through the characters they encounter on the road, Guevara and his companion learn about the injustices done to the impoverished and are exposed to people they would have never encountered in their home town. The trip serves to expose a Latin American identity as well as explore the identity of one of its most memorable revolutionaries.
