University Leadership Institute - Ethics: Yours, Mine, and Ours

"Morality is the custom of one's country and the current feeling of one's peers. Cannibalism is moral in a cannibal country." Samuel Butler, Notebooks. What are ethics anyway? As suggested above, some of it depends on where one lives or works. One definition could be organizational ground rules people follow, but are there bigger, deeper ethical imperatives? This course will explore the meaning of ethics and how individuals make ethical decisions.
