Living Healthy with Arthritis Lecture Series

Back pain is the second-most common neurological ailment in the United States – only headache is more common. Low back pain costs Americans about $50 billion annually in terms of lost work and medical expenses, according to the National Institutes of Health. Learn about the different causes, treatments and prevention methods to keep back pain from interfering with your work, life and recreation.

"Keeping Your Back in Action" will be presented by Ronald Wisneski, MD, spine specialist and University of Arizona associate professor of clinical orthopaedic surgery with Jill Wright-Hammond, a physical trainer for the Arizona Arthritis Center’s Knee Study, demostrating core exercise techniques.
