Kevin Townsley is the assistant to showrunner Shawn Ryan on "The Shield" and "The Oaks" for Fox. After graduating from the UA with a double major in cultural anthropology/Spanish, traveling and living in 23 different countries, and a short stint in the business world, he has returned to his true passion – writing. Townsley has worked on several shows, including Fox’s "The Bernie Mac Show," "Killer Instinct" and "Vanished," and ABC’s "The Nine." He just sold a competition reality show to MTV.
Jamie Turner caught his first break in the business when offered a position as a production assistant on ABC’s "Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper," sparking a 10-year run in production with jobs varying from production assistant to assistant coordinator to writers' assistant to script coordinator for the critically acclaimed FX series "The Shield." This past season, Turner received his first writing assignment: co-writing an episode titled "Petty Cash" with executive producer Charles H. Eglee.
